The very first (and worst) commission work I did. Proudly presenting: Solicide – Der Untergang des Abenlandes (2003).

ASHTORETH – Sacred video
“Vale of Mary” featured in the ASHTORETH video “Sacred”.
A little surprised and a little flattered! Just realized a bunch of people have been adding photos of my works to Pintrest.
Having painted the Skaven Grey Seer I went to the store looking for a new little project. Somewhere along the way I figured the Skaven Doomwheel looked cool, and decided to buy one.
I had no idea the amount of detail and time it would take to paint the little bugger. For the first time I also realised that basing the miniature needed to be done properly, and had to get sand and grass. 20 rats and a bazillion hours later, the Doomwheel is done.
Being the first large miniature I have painted, I am fairly satisfied 🙂

The watch face and the gears are set in jewellers grade resin, which has been domed to magnify the elements inside. I have been using ICE Resin, a nontoxic, jeweler’s grade product. The resin cures to glassy and completely clear. (more…)
